| dc.description | Una de las características de los trabajos que se realizan en el sector agroforestal es que buena parte de ellos se realizan al aire libre, por tanto expuestos a las inclemencias meteorológicas, en muchas ocasiones adversas. Por ello el trabajador está sometido al riesgo de estrés térmico, bien sea por calor o por frío. El propósito de esta comunicación es exponer los resultados obtenidos sobre el riesgo por estrés térmico al que están sometidos los trabajadores que realizan sus actividades laborales al aire libre en el ámbito geográfico de la provincia de Pontevedra. A tal fin, y partiendo de los datos climáticos suministrado por la red de estaciones meteorológicas automáticas existentes en el ámbito de estudio, (de las cuales se han seleccionado cinco) se han determinado los niveles de riesgo según los métodos siguientes: el índice Humidex para el caso de estrés por calor y el índice Wind-Chill para el frío. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | One of the characteristics of working in the agroforestry sector is that many times they are carried out outdoor, therefore exposed to weather conditions, in many cases adverse ones. Thus, the worker is submitted to the risk of thermal stress, either by heat or by cold. The aim of this communication is to show the thermal stress risks to which the workers are submitted when work outdoors in the geographical area of the province of Pontevedra. From the climatic information supplied by the automatic weather stations network existing in the area of study (of which were selected five), the levels of risk according to the following methods were calculated: the Index Humidex for the case of stress by heat and the index Wind-Chill by the cold. | es_ES |
