Currently, one of the most popular works is the Energy Manager. Its functions include the initial study of the different facilities and the development of a plan to optimize energy consumption.
This communication will present the practical implementation of the energy evaluation and improvement of the facilities of a sports town. It will show the procedure for data collection and selection of proposals based on efficient operating techniques and high performance equipment installations.
The following facilities will be studied within a Great Customer Center: Power supply, gas supply, lighting, boilers and hot water, solar thermal, HVAC, solar photovoltaic and cogeneration.
After grouping improvements evaluated we will make the economic study to propose the most interesting plan. In this study the Gross profit after depreciation will be the priority, as well as the improvement measures developed.
It is considered essential the energy efficiency, provided that the return on investment is acceptable based on the life of the modified equipment.
