| dc.description | Se estudia la plantación de Vetiveria Zizanioides en taludes de tierras de Guatemala como ejemplo de bioingeniería aplicada en la estabilización de dichos taludes. El objetivo es conseguir disminuir la erosión provocada por los episodios de lluvias torrenciales. Para ello se ha realizado el trasplante sobre un suelo caracterizado por difracción de rayos X, pH, conductividad eléctrica, sales solubles, materia orgánica, capacidad de intercambio cationico, además de análisis granulométrico, límites liquido y plástico y corte directo. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos y se discuten en función de las principales características del suelo original. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In this communication it is presented a study concerning the sowing of Vetiveria Zizanioides using slopes of selected grounds in Guatemala as an example of Bioengineering applied in the stabilization of these slopes. The objective is to decrease the erosion provoked by episodes of torrential rains. For this purpose, the sowing has been performed on a soil previously characterized by X-Ray Diffraction, pH, electrical conductivity, soluble salts, organic matter and capacity of exchangeable cations. Other determinations have been the granulometric analysis, liquid and plastic limits and shear strength. The results are presented and discussed as a function of the main characteristics of the original soil. | es_ES |
