DISEÑO DE UNA MESA AUXILIAR DE ENFERMERÍA MEDIANTE HERRAMIENTAS DE MODELADO GRÁFICO

Abstract

Current hospital furniture market counts on numerous models of auxiliary tables, all of them oriented to cover a very specific need, overriding general hospital care. Furthermore, in the new “Internet of things” scenario, the hospital management evolves towards the processes monitoring due to the increasing complex level when handling clinical parameters (temperature, blood pressure, analysis, etc.). In this context, the problem requires development of new work equipment that helps sanitary technician to perform his tasks in a more intuitive and reliable environment. For this reason, this communication proposes the design of a new concept of auxiliary table based on the integration-modularity-compatibility trinomial with the different clinical tasks pertaining to a hospital. Moreover, the new table will be endowed with internet connection so that the sanitary technician could handle real-time patient information, avoiding possible errors associated with management of information on paper.
