RELACIÓN ENTRE DE LOS LODS EN PROYECTOS BIM CON LOS MAPAS DE PROCESOS Y LAS ÁREAS DE CONOCIMIENTO DEL PMBOK

Abstract

The object of this communication is to relate the process maps and knowledge areas from PMBoK v5 with the different Level Of Development (LOD) established by the document G202–2013 “Project Building Information Modeling Protocol Form” from the AIA (American Institute of Architects) For this objective, the information requirements of the different LOD100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 will be analyzed, and the way the information is being added to the project through the BIM methodology, establishing relationships between this Level Of Developments of the construction project, and the process maps Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling and Closing that PMBoK establishes. Once this info has been analyzed, will proceed to relate the information that has been being added to the BIM project with the areas of knowledge Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement and Stakeholders. Given that the LOD levels establish 2 planning processes: one for project planning and the other for detailed planning, and the PMBoK only has one process of planning and 2 differentiated processes of executing and controlling, the existing links will be determined.
