| dc.description | The purpose of the communication is to present successful evidences about the use of new sustainable materials created from industrial and construction waste in the field of heritage. The usefulness of these materials has been proven in several aspects. On the one hand, they can be used in rehabilitation and conservation. Pieces have been manufactured with mechanical and aesthetic characteristics similar to the original ones damaged due to the passage of time. On the other hand, its usefulness has been seen in the dissemination of heritage and art to the general public, in the training and awareness of new generations and facilitating access to historical heritage to groups with disabilities that currently do not find it easy to do so. | dc.description.abstract | El objeto de la comunicación es presentar pruebas exitosas de utilización de nuevos materiales sostenibles creados a partir de residuos industriales y de construcción en el ámbito del patrimonio. Se ha comprobado la utilidad de los mismos en diversos aspectos. Por un lado, pueden ser utilizados en rehabilitación y conservación. Se han fabricado piezas con características mecánicas y estéticas similares a las originales dañadas por el paso del tiempo. Por otro lado, se ha visto su utilidad en la divulgación del patrimonio propio y del arte a la población en general, en la formación y sensibilización de las nuevas generaciones y facilitando el acceso al patrimonio histórico a colectivos con discapacidad que actualmente no encuentran facilidades para ello.
