dc.description | The choice of resin tapping method and stimulant paste in the resin tapping process is crucial. For this reason, other authors carried out studies on the tapping methods with which the best yields are obtained, as well as studied the differences in productions obtained from different types of stimulant pastes. In this study, an appropriate experimental design used on five representative plots of P.pinaster, allowed us to explore the productive differences between two resin tapping methods (traditional and eurogemme) and three stimulant treatements (control, ethephon and ASACIF). The standard yields obtained showed that the traditional method yields 1.43 times more than the eurogemme method. The standard resin production after each groove trend during the season varied between both methods and the stimulant pastes. The tapping method influences the effectiveness of the paste, obtaining greater increases in resin yield after the application of stimulant paste in trees with the eurogemme method. The stimulant paste was the major factor that influence the resin yield, and the response of the tree was not strongly conditioned by dasometric factors, was mainly due to a combination with other factors (bioclimatic, edaphological, genetic. . . ) Keywords: Resin yield; Pinus pinaster; tapping methods; stimulant paste; differences | es_ES |
. . ) Palabras clave: Rendimiento de resina; Pinus pinaster; métodos de aprovechamiento; pasta estimulante; diferencias | es_ES |
