| dc.description | The construction sector represents worldwide a benchmark for the development of the scales of the economy. In Mexico, despite the boom in housing construction, many construction companies are bankrupt. A situation that is worrying because, in addition, in this sector, thousands of jobs are generated, but at the same time, it is here where many accidents occur that immediately bring as a consequence social and economic affectations. For this reason and despite the progress that has been shown in Mexico, it is necessary to continue working on the analysis of the situation, since, even today, there are entrepreneurs and engineers at all levels who consider that the prevention of occupational risks is an unnecessary expense, the level of awareness is not yet reached, much less cultural that safety in the works must be an essential part of the quality of the product. In this same sense, construction companies, customers and society itself must know the degree of the economic impact that accidents cause and the urgency of carrying out strategic and preventive actions from the moment of planning the activities. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El sector de la construcción, representa a nivel mundial un referente del desarrollo de las escalas de la economía. En México, a pesar del auge en la construcción de viviendas, muchas empresas constructoras se encuentran en quiebra. Situación que resulta preocupante porque, además en este sector, se generan miles de empleos, pero al mismo tiempo, es aquí donde se presentan muchos accidentes que de manera inmediata traen como consecuencia afectaciones de tipo social y económico. Por tal motivo y a pesar de los avances que se han mostrado en México, es necesario que se continúe trabajando en el análisis de la situación, ya que, aún hoy en día, existen empresarios e ingenieros en todos los niveles que consideran que la prevención de los riesgos laborales es un gasto innecesario, aún no se llega al nivel de concienciación, ni mucho menos cultural de que la seguridad en las obras debe ser parte imprescindible de la calidad del producto. En este mismo sentido, las empresas constructoras, clientes y la misma sociedad deben conocer el grado del impacto económico que los accidentes provocan y la urgencia de llevar a cabo acciones estratégicas y preventivas desde el momento de la planeación de las actividades. | es_ES |
