Desarrollo de una aplicación informática para control y seguimiento de proyectos aplicando el Método de Valor Ganado

Abstract

In the present work, a computer application is developed that allows a project management team to monitoring and control a project, monitoring and studying all the variables and indices that are obtained, after applying the techniques of earned value. Developed in Excel, the spreadsheet has five fundamental parts such as: a table of initial values, an automatic calculation base where changes and actions are reflected, graphs of evolution of magnitudes, tables of interpretation of results, and finally a summary table where state dates and corrective measures are established. Establishing dates of control, data of the evolution of the project are taken for each date (real cost and earned value), and in view of the variation of indexes and results, it allows to take a series of measures that can channel and return the project to a phase that can be controlled and meet objectives. The conclusion is that with few additional data to those requested by the method, it is possible to carry out the management and control of any type of project.
