dc.description	En este trabajo orientamos los indicadores de desempeño medioambiental hacia la sostenibilidad y eficiencia económica de los mismos. Relacionamos el coste que supone la obtención de la información para la determinación de los indicadores con la importancia y el nivel de información que nos ofrecen los mismos. De esta forma tratamos de reforzar la viabilidad y rentabilidad de los mismos, asegurando que contribuyen de forma equilibrada a un nivel de información proporcional al coste que supone obtenerla. dc.description.abstract	In this paper orient environmental performance indicators towards sustainability and economic efficiency of the same. We relate the cost of obtaining the information for the determination of the indicators with the importance and level of information we provide them. In this way we try to strengthen the viability and profitability of them, ensuring a balanced way to help ensure a level of information proportional to the cost of obtaining it.
