Abstract

This work focuses on sports fantasy leagues and project management. For each participant in a league, it is a temporary assignment, a defined beginning and end, where participation has a unique objective. In addition, each participant must: analyze the feasibility of winning the league, design a strategy to achieve an objective, to develop his strategies and to make use of the experience accumulated in the moment of closing the league. It is seen that participate in a fantastic league has clear analogies with a project. This work has as objective: Analyze how to participate in a fantastic league can be managed as a project. To reach this objective, use the Integrated-Adaptable Methodology for the development of Decision Support System (IAMDSS), which follows an ordered series of steps, instead of establishing hypothesis and that it has demonstrated, be a methodology that leads to successful outcomes in different research problems. As limitations and scopes is that will not be any field study, neither to participate in a fantastic league during its development, but analyzed under a hypothetical situation, as would be the phases of a project for a generic participant.
