APRENDER A LLEVAR A CABO PROYECTOS A TRAVÉS DE LA COPIA, ACTUALIZACIÓN Y MEJORA DE ANTIGUOS PROYECTOS DE INGENIERÍA QUÍMICA

Abstract

In this present study, the work that has been carried out since 2007 in the Chemical Engineering Degree at the University of Cadiz is explained. This work represents 15% of the total value of the subject of Projects and Technical Office, which carries a total of 10.5 credits. It aims to guarantee that the student knows how to go about their final project or dissertation which will be what gives them the powers of the profession, in accordance with UNE 157001:2002 “General criteria for the elaboration of projects”. Either the student is given a project or he or she must find one already carried out in order to study it and defend it as if it were their own, but at the same time bringing it up to date and improving it. Only basic engineering is required in the solution to be defended. An important part of this improvement must always be environmental management, as well as the search for an alternative improved design where possible. During the defence of the project, whenever possible, the help of a specialist on the subject will be enlisted in order to evaluate the technical parts of specific studies.
